Former West Indies spin bowler Nehemiah Perry saysafter years of watching the slide of cricket in Jamaica he feels it’s time to play a more significant role in reviving the sport in the country as he aims to become the next president of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA).
Perry revealed his intention to contest the 2021 JCA elections to Radio Jamaica Sports on Monday.
Perry says one of the issues he will be looking to address should he become president, is the drastic decline in schools participating at the high school level.
