The Reggae Boyz have seemingly changed their strategy in their protracted negotiations with the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF). The federation and the players have been at loggerheads for months and have failed to arrive at a consensus.

In the meantime, Radio Jamaica Sports has obtained details of the salary structure proposed by the JFF to the players.

In the document the JFF is offering to pay US $1000 for appearance fees for friendlies against non-CONCACAF teams ranked in the top 30 in the world.

Attached is a win bonus of US $750, while US $500 will be paid out for a draw. Games against top 5 teams in CONCACAF will see players being paid US $750 in appearance fee, with US $500 for a home win and US $250 for victories away from home.

For other CONCACAF friendlies and Nations League games, US $500 will be paid for appearance, US $250 for home win and US $500 for an away victory.

15 percent prize money will also by payable to participating players. For other friendlies, there is a figure of US $500 for appearance, and an added US $500 for a win.

According to the document, players in the starting 11 will receive full amounts with substitutes receiving 75 percent, while 50 percent will be paid to unused substitutes. The players have told Radio Jamaica Sports they have turned the negotiations over to their attorney.
