Reggae Boyz move up in FIFA world rankings

The recent performances by Jamaica's Reggae Boyz in the CONCACAF Nations League have seen them rise two places up to number 56 in the latest FIFA men's world rankings.

The Heimir Hallgrimsson-coached Reggae Boyz also remain the number 1 team in the Caribbean ahead of Haiti who are ranked 87th.

The Reggae Boyz also remain the 6th highest ranked CONCACAF  team in the world with the United States being the highest ranked at number 11 ahead of Mexico at number 12, while Canada are 44th, Panama  45th and Costa Rica 46th.

Since March of this year, the Reggae Boyz have played 12 games, winning four, losing four and drawing four. They recently played to 2-2 draw with Haiti and defeated Honduras 1-0 in the CONCACAF Nations League.

Argentina remain the world's number 1 ahead of France, Brazil, England and Belgium.
