For the second week running, Sunshine Girls captain Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard had a 100 percent shooting accuracy for her team to come out victorious in the Suncorp Super Netball League in Australia.
Fowler-Nembhard scored 68 goals from as many attempts for the West Coast Fever to beat the Queensland Firebirds 82-65 in round 8 of the competition this weekend.
Another Sunshine Girl, Romelda Aiken-George had 43 goals from 48 attempts for defending champions, the Adelaide Thunderbirds who went down 66-64 to the New South Wales Swifts.
Shimona Jok recorded 41 goals from 42 attempts, but her team the Melbourne Mavericks also ended up on the receiving end, going down 67-60 to the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
The Swifts remain overall leaders on 32 points with West Coast Fever on 24, Sunshine Coast lightning 20 and the Adelaide Thunderbirds on 16, rounding out the top four.
