Roach rises in test bowling rankings

West Indies and Barbados fast bowler Kemar Roach has risen two places up to number 8 the latest ICC test bowling rankings.  30 year old Roach impressed in the recent first test against India, taking a haul of 5-95 in the match including 4-66 in the first innings.  West Indies captain Jason Holder is the next highest ranked Caribbean test bowler despite falling to number 11.

Australia's Pat Cummins remains the top bowler, while India's Jasprit Bumrah who took an amazing 5-7 in the 2nd innings against the West Indies, climbed into the top ten at number 7. Holder remained the top test all-rounder while Ben Stokes whose incredible unbeaten 135 and match haul of four wickets at Headingley saw the Englishman move into a career best second place on that list.

Holder is also the highest ranked Caribbean test batsman, moving up to number 34. Stokes also climbed 13 places up to another career best number 13 in the batting rankings. Virat Kohli continues to lead the batting chart, ahead of Australia's Steven Smith but only by six points.
