Rugby to be included at Monday night RSPL matches

The sport of rugby will feature in Red Stripe Premier League's Monday night football packageas it continues to ride the wave of its historic qualification for the Rugby Sevens World Cup. The rugby sevens format will make the first of several appearances in the popular football package during the half time break entertainment with the first match to be featured  at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex  on Monday evening in the RSPL fixture between Arnett Gardens and Reno.

The historic move has been a long time in coming and chairman of the Jamaica Rugby Union Jerry Benzwick is happy the initiative is getting off the ground. Jamaica's rugby union team is currently riding a wave after qualifying to become the first Caribbean team at the World Cup.
