Eleven Russian cities will host the 2018 World Cup matches
Thats according to Russian sports minister Vitaly Mutko.
He reportedly explained that it will be hosted in 12 stadiums in eleven cities.
The BBC reports that 13 Russian cities - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara, Saransk, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Rostov, Sochi and Yekaterinburg - had been competing for the right to stage the matches.
Mutko did not name the two cities that were not selected.
