Samantha Hall attains qualifying standard for Tokyo World Champs

4-time national discus champion Samantha Hall achieved the automatic qualification mark for the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan, after throwing a personal best 64.97 metres on the weekend at the Oklahoma throws series, in the United States.

Hall erased her old mark of 64.41 metres set in April. She won the national title in June with a throw of 60.94 metres. 
The World Championships qualifying mark is 64.50 metres.
