Scorpions assistant coach sees improvement despite two losses so far

Voice of Jamaica Scorpions assistant coach Nikita Miller

Despite the Jamaica Scorpions losing two of their opening three matches in the West Indies 4-day Championship, assistant coach Nikita Miller is insisting that the team is improving.

The Scorpions went down to a five wicket defeat in the latest round to the Barbados Pride at Sabina Park over the weekend.

Following the latest round of matches, the Jamaican franchise sits fourth on 29.6 points, while the Pride elevated to third on 43.8 points.

Leeward Islands Hurricanes are second on 45.6 points with the Windward Islands Volcanoes who have three wins to start, having 62.2 points. Miller insists that there are reasons to be optimistic.

The competition takes a break until March 13, but Radio Jamaica Sports understands that the Scorpions could now play all their matches at home.
