A half century from lower-order batsman Dennis Bulli carried Team 'A' to a 29 run win over Team 'B' in the opening game of the Jamaica Scorpions trial series.
Bulli scored 53 from 25 balls to help take Team 'A' recover from 79-6 to post 210-9. Gordon Bryan also made 40, while captain Brad Barnes got 41. Shalome Parnell claimed 3-44, while Nicholson Gordon and Akim Fraser had two wickets each.
In their chase, Team 'B' were bowled out for 205 with Tevin Gilzine top scoring with 38, while Romain Morris got 31.
Jamie Merchant claimed 2-9, while Bulli returned to take 2-24.
