Shiv at #6 on ICC batting rankings

West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul has climbed two places to number 6 in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) test batting rankings.

England's Jonathan Trott, who made a crucial first innings 70 in the first test win over India, has leaped frogged the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, and Kumar Sangakarra to the number two spot in the batting rankings being led by South Africa's Jacques Kallis.

Fidel Edwards at number 16 continues to be the highest ranked West Indian test bowler.
