Sports marketer calls for merger of sports and tourism ministries

Sports marketer and communications specialist Carole Beckford is suggesting a merger of two of the major government ministries, tourism and sports.  

She has recommended a number of personnel in various industries that could come together to help chart the way forward.

Beckford is also challenging the government to capitalize on Jamaica's sporting prowess.
