Jamaica's Sunshine Girls made a winning start to their campaign at the Fast 5 Netball World Series in Christchurch, New Zealand with a dramatic 38-36 win over defending champions Australia on Friday evening Jamaica time.
After losing the first two quarters 10-7 and 15-7, the Sunshine Girls rallied to take the remaining quarters 13-7 and 11-4.
Player of the Match Gezelle Allison had a 71 percent shooting accuracy for the Sunshine Girls with 10 goals from 14 attempts, while captain Romelda Aiken-George converted 2 of 4.
The Sunshine Girls latest made it two from two on the day with a 41-37 win over Malawi.
