Tuffy saved the Boyz

Jermaine "Tuffy" Anderson turned out to be the hero by scoring in the dying moments as Jamaica earned a one all draw with Costa Rica at the National Stadium to keep alive their slim hopes of reaching the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Waterhouse striker who came on as a second half substitute scored in the second minute of added time to cancel out Randall Brenes' 74th minute goal.

The draw moved Jamaica to four points, 4 behind Mexico who went down two nil to the United States.

Like Costa Rica on 15 points, the Americans secured their World Cup berth by inching ahead in the hexagonal standings on 16 points.

Honduras lead Panama 2-1 in the night's other match.
