Defending champions
Urban Knights are now the only unbeaten team in the JABA/KFC National Basketball
League, after a strong defensive work helped them to a 66-56 victory over
previously unbeaten newcomers, Port Royal Bulls.
Andy Smith with 19 points and Damar Barnes with 14 points and 11 rebounds were the main scorers for the Knights who led 32-20 at half time.
Damion Young with a game high 24 points and 18 rebounds along with Paul Oliphant and Paul Brown 10 points each, top scored for the Bulls who will now try to avenge Friday night's defeat in the August 9th mid season final.
Blazing Panthers led by Lynford Brown with 24 points, were 76-70 winners over Running Rebels.
