The United States won the CONCACAF U-20 Championship after a 2-0 win over Mexico at the IMG Academy in Florida on Wednesday. 18 year old Alexis Mendez scored a brace for the Americans to seal the win. Jamaican Jasset Kerr was the second assistant referee in the final.
Panama and Honduras are the other teams that will represent CONCCAAF in the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Poland next year. Jamaica was eliminated from the group stages of this tournament.
