The Karachi Kings with Jamaica's Chadwick Walton and fellow West Indian Sherfane Rutherford defeated the Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets in the final of the Pakistan Super League on Tuesday.
The Qalandars were first restricted to 134-7 after electing to bat. Tamim Iqbal top scored with 35, as Waqas Maqsood, Arshad Iqbal and Umaid Asif took two wickets each .
In reply, Karachi withstood an early wobble at 49-2 to achieve victory at 135-5 in 18.1 overs. They were led by Man of the Match and Series, Babar Azam, who made 63 not out to guide them to their first ever PSL title.
Walton also made 22 , while Guyana's Rutherford failed to score. Haris Rauf took 2-30 and Dilbar Hussain 2-28.
