WICB to complain about Digicel series umpires

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) says it will express its concern to the International Cricket Council, the ICC, over the quality of umpiring in the 2008 Digicel series.

WICB CEO Dr. Donald Peters made the announcement in the wake of the ugly bottle throwing incident towards the end of the first one day international between the West Indies and Australia at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex on Tuesday.

Throughout the test series against Australia, especially in the second test in Antigua and in the earlier series against Sri Lanka, television replays showed the West Indies at the wrong end of a few erroneous decisions.
