Disgraced actor Bill Cosby has been denied parole by the Pennsylvania Parole Board, in relation to his prison sentence for aggravated indecent assault.
The board cited a number of reasons for its decision including his refusal to participate in a therapy program for sexually violent predators and failure to develop a parole release plan.
Mr. Cosby has continued to proclaimed his innocence and deny all allegations made against him.
The 83 -year-old would have become eligible for parole on September 25 after completing the three-year minimum term of his sentence.
He was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison and designated a sexually violent predator in 2018, after being convicted of the rape of Andrea Constand, his former friend at Temple University, in 2004.
