Sandra Brooks
Well-known gospel singer and former Grace Thrillers member Sandra Brooks has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for her growing medical bill.
She incurred the expenses following surgery at the University Hospital of the West Indies.
The surgery became necessary after she suffered a broken ankle.
Information on the GoFundMe site states that Brooks has already spent more than J$300,000 and will need physical therapy and additional surgeries.
The goal is to raise US$10,000.
Brooks is known for the singles Crown Him with her former group and her chart topping 1998 album The Answer, featuring the lead single of the same name.
