Teen reggae sensation Koffee has become the youngest solo Reggae act to be nominated for a Grammy award.
The Spanish Town native secured her first nomination Wednesday morning in the category of Best Reggae Album for her EP Rapture.
She will be competing against Steel Pulse with their album Mass Manipulation, As I Am by Julian Marley, The Final Battle: Sly & Robbie vs Roots Radics by Sly and Robbie and Roots Radics and More Work to be Done by Third World.
Meanwhile, Lizzo is the top nominee for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, with eight nominations.
This marks the first time that a new artist has been the year's leading contender since 2004, when Kanye West secured 10 nominations.
Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X earned six nominations each, and Ariana Grande and H.E.R. copped five nominations each.
The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards takes place on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
