Morgan Heritage to release new album on April 21

Grammy award-winning Reggae group Morgan Heritage has signaled a new project.

The announcement was made yesterday by members of the band in separate social media posts.

The album titled The Homeland will be released on April 21.

Its description as world music means it could be a contender in the GRAMMY's Global Music category next year.

The 21-track collection has contributions from other acts like Popcaan, Shaggy and Beenie Man.

Morgan Heritage released their debut album dubbed Miracle back in 1994.
