Tory Lanez who obviously refuses to go down without a fight has hired two new lawyers and filed an appeal after being convicted in the shooting trial of Megan Thee Stallion.
The embattled Canadian singer is expected to be sentenced next month and faces up to 22 years behind bars after being charged with three felony firearms violations.
The motion for a new trial was submitted on multiple grounds that claim the judge erred by allowing jurors to view the evidence in the form of an Instagram account.
Further, it is alleged that the rapper did not get to take the stand to give testimony because of the threat of impeaching evidence by the prosecution and he didn't have a fair trial.
According to TMZ, the appeal claims that the case was mishandled and that the prosecutors who were working on the case submitted irrelevant evidence in a successful attempt to mar Lanez's character and image.
