Barita Investments is offering a US and Jamaican dollar denominated bond to the market in seven different tranches.
The investment house and securities dealer is seeking to raise US$11 million from a US dollar denominated bond and J$2.25 billion from a Jamaican dollar denominated bond.
The company has the option to increase the US dollar bond by US$6 million and the Jamaican dollar bond by J$1.25 billion dollars.
The tenure or maturity dates are two to 10 years, with rates of interest
of up to 7% per annum on the US dollar denominated bond and up to 10.75% on the Jamaican dollar bond.
The proceeds will be used to pay down existing debts.
