CDB President Dr. Gene Leon in Jamaica for talks with gov't

Dr. Gene Leon, President of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), is in Jamaica.
 
Dr. Leon will hold discussions with government officials, including Prime Minister Andrew Holness, as well as members of the development finance community and the business industry.
 
He said the CDB is seeking to engage in continuous dialogue with borrowing member countries.
 
During the visit, the CDB delegation will visit several projects including the Essex Valley Agricultural Development Project in St. Elizabeth and the Southern Plains Agricultural Development Project in Clarendon which are being financed under the United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Partnership Fund.
