Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett
The Ministry of Tourism has announced that Emirates Airlines will begin weekly scheduled flights from Dubai to Montego Bay, starting April 10.
This marks the first time a Middle Eastern airline will offer service to the English-speaking Caribbean.
The new service from Dubai will transit through Germany before landing at Sangster International Airport.
Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett has lauded this development as a major achievement for Jamaica's tourism industry.
