Nitram of Waterloo spent $1.4 billion on Waterloo Road housing development

Nitram of Waterloo, a public-private partnership between Sagicor Bank and the Jamaica Mortgage Bank, recently pumped $1.4 billion into the building of 47 housing units at 44 Waterloo Road in St Andrew.
 
Sagicor contributed $680 million, or 49 per cent of the cost of the development, while the Jamaica Mortgage Bank injected the remaining 51 per cent, or $720 million. 
 
The six-storey complex comprises one and two-bedroom units, with the one bedroom units being sold for $36.55 million each.
