GraceKennedy looks to protect revenues amid US trade war

The GraceKennedy Group says it will be taking steps to protect the $167 billion in revenues it generated last year from US President Donald Trump's inflationary trade war.

The company generated 70% of revenues or $116.7 billion from the food division last year and this will be affected by President Trump's 20% tariff on Mexican, Canadian and Chinese imports because it will disrupt the supply chain, inflate costs and reduce its competitiveness under trade agreements such as the Caribbean Basin Initiative.
