The Financial Policy Committee of the Bank of Jamaica says the country's financial system remains resilient to shocks.
The Committee says it is implementing measures to mitigate and respond to any challenges to system stability.
The BOJ and the Financial Services Commission have already started to conduct joint prudential and market conduct examinations under the Twin Peaks Initiative.
The committee says plans are also in place for continuous training and capacity building for BOJ and FSC employees to ensure a smooth transition towards Twin Peaks supervision.
