Companies associated with Mayberry Group and executives of the group have been snapping-up significant amounts of profitable microlender Dolla Financial.
The company's unaudited report for the fourth quarter of last year indicated that two companies controlled by Christopher Berry, Executive Chairman of Mayberry Group and CEO Gary Peart purchased 23 million shares each in the company at $3.32 per share during the quarter under review.
The report also revealed that the company's interest income jumped by 37% from $319.9 million during the fourth quarter of 2023 to $437.61 million during the fourth quarter of last year.
