The National Housing Trust (NHT) is set to record a J$1.2 billion increase in profit during the 2021/2022 fiscal year. The public bodies report, tabled yesterday by Finance Minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke, shows the entity's profit will amount to $2.8-billion. Profit for the current year is projected at $1.6 billion and total income is set to increase by nearly $1.2 billion to $30.4 billion.
The NHT's medium term housing programme consists of plans to commence construction of 26,500 housing solutions and to deliver 22,800 solutions comprising a mix of houses and residential lots by March 2024.
