The JSE Index advanced by 3,012 points, while the Junior Market rose by 46 points.
Among the 55 winners were: Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances, General Accident Insurance Company (Jamaica), Key Insurance Company, A.S. Bryden and Sons Holdings and iCreate - Ordinary Shares.
The 37 losers included: MFS Capital Partners, CAC 2000, 138 Student Living Jamaica, Consolidated Bakeries (Jamaica) and Eppley - 7.75 per cent Preference Shares.
Seventeen stocks traded firm.
