The JSE Index advanced by 1,017 points on Monday while the Junior Market rose by 10 points.
Among the 50 winners were: Medical Disposables and Supplies, Sygnus Real Estate Finance USD shares, tTech, Lasco Distributors and Cargo Handlers.
The 54 losers included: 138 Student Living Variable Preference shares, Caribbean Assurance Brokers, Eppley 7.5 per cent preference shares, Proven Group USD shares and Jetcon Corporation.
Eleven stocks traded firm.
