The JSE Index declined by 112 points on Wednesday, while the Junior Market Index declined by one point.
There were 38 advancing shares, led by Paramount Trading, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances, CAC 2000, K.L.E. Group, and JMMB Group 7% Preference shares.
The 50 decliners included 138 Student Living Variable Preference, Margaritaville Turks USD, Cargo Handlers, First Rock Real Estate Investments and The Lab.
Twenty-six stocks traded firm.
