The JSE Main Index gained 1,569 points, while the Junior Market lost 30 points.
Leading the 51 winners were: Salada Foods Jamaica, Ironrock Insurance Insurance Company, CAC 2000, Knutsford Express and Express Catering.
The 18 losers included: TransJamaican Highway 8 per cent shares, 138 Student Living Jamaica preference shares, ISP Finance Services, Cargo Handlers and Main Event Entertainment Group.
Eighteen stocks traded firm.
