The government is advising that the prospectus for TransJamaican Highway offer for sale is now available for public access on the Jamaica Stock Exchange's website.
The offer for sale opens on March 4 and closes on March 18, 2025.
The government also says the offer presents a unique opportunity for Jamaicans to own a greater stake in a new national infrastructural asset.
The National Road Operating and Constructing Company (NROCC) officially launched the offer for sale of up to 1.75 billion ordinary shares in TransJamaican Highway.
As part of the offer for sale, NROCC has set aside just over 700 million ordinary shares as reserved shares.
These shares will be available for priority applications from strategic investors at a price of $3.60.
If any of these reserved shares remain unpurchased, they will be made available for subscription by the general public.
NROCC retains the option to increase the size of the offer by issuing an additional 750 million ordinary shares.
