The number of securities listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange jumped to 155 last week after VM Investments listed three bonds, valued at $5.43 billion.
This was the third listing as well as the largest amount of money raised by any company this year. It was also the first bond IPO to be listed.
Managing director of the JSE Dr. Marlene Street Forrest says the success of the capital raising drive and the listing was due to the excellent work of lead broker VM Wealth.
