The police are probing the shooting of a ten year old boy in Westmoreland on Wednesday.
It is reported that about 3:25 pm, the boy was walking to a shop on Barracks Road in Savanna-La-Mar when explosions were heard.
It was discovered that he was shot several times.
He has been hospitalised.
Investigators found four spent shell casings at the scene.
