People's National Party Vice President and Government Senator Angella Brown Burke is now the Mayor of Kingston. Miss Brown Burke who is vice president of the people's national party was sworn in Monday morning at the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation - KSAC.
The swearing in follows last Monday's victory for the PNP in the Local Government Election. In accordance with the KSAC Act, an election to fill the position of Mayor and Deputy Mayor must be called during a ceremony within a special sitting of the Council.
