The body of a man who was a patient at Black River Hospital in St. Elizabeth was found floating in the sea behind the institution on Thursday morning.
He has been identified as 57-year-old Alvin Allen.
The body was discovered by a resident about 6:30 a.m.
The police are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
