The curfew which was imposed in sections of the St Andrew South Police Division following last week's deadly attack by gunmen in Maverly has been extended.
The curfew, which was scheduled to end on Sunday, will remain in effect until 6:00p.m., Tuesday.
The boundaries of the curfew are: north along an imaginary line in the vicinity of Potosi Avenue to Glendale Drive, east along Molynes Road to Washington Boulevard, south along Washington Boulevard from Molynes Road to Elma Crescent and west along Elma Crescent to Potosi Avenue.
On Friday Radio Jamaica News reported that investigators were scrutinising footage from closed-circuit television cameras as they probe the shooting of the six persons.
Commissioner of Police Major General Antony Anderson said he was optimistic that the investigators would make a breakthrough.
