Damion Crawford’s future in Portland Eastern to be determined on Wednesday

A decision is to be made this week whether Damion Crawford will be the opposition  People's National Party (PNP) caretaker for Portland Eastern following his defeat in last Thursday's by-election.

In an interview with RJR News last night,Crawford said a meeting will be held tomorrow to discuss his future in the constituency.

“That’s not an individual decision as I am not an independent candidate. I’ll be meeting with the party and the delegates of East Portland to make that decision,” he said.

Crawford was defeated by the Jamaica Labour Party's Ann-Marie Vaz who is scheduled to be sworn-in as Member of  Parliament next week Tuesday.
