Eight people were shot and three of them died, in Montego Bay Saturday morning.
In the drive-by attack, gunmen opened fire on residents on Warrick Drive, Hendon about 9:45 a.m.
The injured were rushed to hospital where three of them were pronounced dead and the others admitted for treatment.
A 14 year old girl is among the injured. She was shot while sitting in her yard.
Members of the police and military are now in the community.
Investigators are trying to determine whether the attack stemmed from the fatal shooting of a man in an adjoining community Friday night.
On Thursday night, six persons were shot in Maverly, St. Andrew in another mass shooting. Three of the victims in that incident also died.
