The Clarendon Police are keeping a close watch on the community of Havana Heights after a family of four was attacked and shot Tuesday evening.
The father was later pronounced dead at hospital. He has been identified as 44 year old Mark Ricketts.
His girlfriend and their two children - a three year-old boy and nine year-old girl - are being treated at hospital.
The boy, who was shot in the head, is in serious condition.
It's reported that the family arrived home sometime after 7 o'clock and that, shortly afterwards, explosions were heard.
When the police arrived, they discovered that the four family members had been shot.
No motive has yet been established for the attack.
