Ganja field destroyed in St Thomas

An acre of fully-grown ganga plants was destroyed by the police during a ganja Eradication Operation in Gutters Head, St. Thomas.
    
The fully-grown ganga plants had a street value of 3.6 million dollars.        

Thursday's operation is the third such in the area.     
    
Just last month, the police destroyed over five acres of ganga plants in the hills of Gutters Head.
    
 The police say the operation will continue as they are determined to rid the area of the illegal substance.
