Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Leader Andrew Holness and Dr Peter Phillips, President of the People’s National Party (PNP) will face each other in the final of three national debates ahead of the September 3 general election.
The debate, organized by the Jamaica Debates Commission, is scheduled to start at 9PM, and will be carried live on Radio Jamaica and Television Jamaica.
The moderator will be Dervan Malcolm from Power 106, part of the RJRGLEANER Group, while the questioners will be Dionne Jackson Miller, also of the RJRGLEANER Group, and George Davis from SportsMax/Ceen TV.
The first of the two earlier debates focused on social issues, and featured teams of three members each from the two major political parties.
The second, which in which the focus was economic issues, was a face-off between Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke of the incumbent JLP government, and Opposition Spokesman on Finance Mark Golding, representing the PNP.
