Operations resumed Monday at the Jamaica Fire Brigade headquarters on Hagley Park Road in Kingston after being closed on the weekend due to a member of staff testing positive for the coronavirus.

Emeleo Ebanks, Public Relations Officer at the Fire Brigade, told Radio Jamaica News that the case, which involves a firefighter, was confirmed last week.

Mr. Ebanks said deep cleaning was conducted at the building.

"We also had the Ministry of Health do their contract tracing and persons who need to be quarantined and tested, had the same done, so we are back to normal," he indicated.
