A 68 year-old Jamaican man, who was residing in the British Virgin Islands, drowned there last week after being swept out to sea off the western coast of Tortola.
The police say Ranceford Burnett, a resident of Sea Cow's Bay, was fishing in a dangerous area in Carrot Bay when the incident occurred.
His body was recovered.
