The three persons who were questioned in connection with the party boat which capsized in Negril two weeks ago have been summoned to appear before the Westmoreland Parish Court on June 1.
Superintendent Robert Gordon, commanding officer for the Westmoreland police division, told Radio Jamaica News that the three individuals will answer charges of operating a vessel in breach of the Jamaica Tourist Board Act.
The operator of the boat was among those questioned by the police.
The vessel reportedly developed mechanical problems and capsized on May 1..
Dozens of persons on the boat jumped into the sea to avoid being pulled underwater.
