The Jamaica Urban Transit Company plans to introduce a new bus route for commuters traveling between Naggo Head and Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
The JUTC says this new Number 9 route, to come into effect March 24, will provide a reliable and convenient transportation option for commuters.
It says the fare structure will be 50 dollars for adults using smart fare cards and 100 dollars for those using cash.
Seniors eligible for concession will pay 25 dollars on the route, and children, students and persons with disabilities will pay 20 dollars.
Shantole Thompson, Corporate & Communications Manager at JUTC, says this route will provide a seamless and affordable travel option between Naggo Head and Spanish Town.
She says this new route is part of JUTC's efforts to enhance public transportation by increasing connectivity and convenience for commuters.
